From Trusted to Loved: Panasonic Middle East and Africa’s Communications Journey to Reconnect with Every Generation

A new MarTech engine, new partners, brand and digital commerce strategy powered the region’s B2C communication reinvention

Dubai, September 10th, 2026 –  Panasonic Middle East and Africa is undergoing a reinvention of how it connects with consumers; moving from a brand historically defined by trust to one that is visibly, actively chosen and loved across generations.

The shift began with a change inhouse, establishing a MarTech engine with stronger creative, digital and strategic capabilities, bringing in partners better equipped to translate decades of engineering heritage into a modern, culturally fluent brand voice. A new creative platform followed, built to flex consistently across markets while carrying a single recognizable identity, supported by a channel mix shift toward the platforms where the region’s audiences; from digitally native younger consumers to established household decision-makers; spend their attention.

For the first time, this was reinforced by a structured influencer collaboration strategy, bringing credible, culturally relevant voices into the brand narrative rather than relying on paid media alone, and by the establishment of digital commerce as a core consumer pathway; turning discovery and desire into a direct, immediate route to purchase.

This strategy played out through three successive campaigns:“Panasonic.

Capable Since Day One.” revived the trust, quality perception and emotional equity Panasonic Middle East and Africa has built over decades; reasserting credentials that needed to be actively reclaimed, not assumed.

“Panasonic. My Choice” moved the brand forward, reintroducing it through the modern lens of a contemporary woman, mother and key opinion leader; repositioning the brand from trusted to actively chosen.

“Panasonic. Loved by All Generations,” the most recent chapter, speaks to every persona in the market with products relevant to every life stage, blending modernity, aspiration and heritage around shared moments; a meal, a day, a life lived differently.“This wasn’t about chasing a younger audience at the expense of the one that’s trusted us for decades,” said Sara Chachi, Leading Brand, Communications and Customer Experience Division, Panasonic Middle East and Africa. “It was about building a brand that could hold both; heritage and relevance; in the same breath.

”Since the transformation began, creative output has been elevated, social presence significantly amplified, and affinity with younger generations has grown; a critical signal for a brand with Panasonic Middle East and Africa’s history and ambition in the region.
