Seven Seas Hotel marks second anniversary with community beach cleaning initiative
Employees from across the Dubai hotel come together at Al Mamzar Beach as the property enters its third year
DUBAI, UAE, 15 October 2026 – Seven Seas Hotel marked its second anniversary with an employee-led clean-up at Al Mamzar Beach, choosing a community environmental initiative to commemorate two years of operations in Dubai.
Colleagues from departments across the hotel took part in the activity, collecting litter along the shoreline and surrounding beach areas. The initiative placed employee participation at the centre of the anniversary and highlighted the shared responsibility of caring for public spaces used by Dubai’s residents and visitors.
Opened on 15 October 2024, Seven Seas Hotel has grown into a 317-room hospitality destination in Al Nahda 1. Its accommodation is complemented by restaurants, nightlife and social venues, wellness and leisure facilities, and spaces for meetings, banquets and celebrations. The beach clean-up gave the hotel an opportunity to mark its anniversary beyond the property and make a practical contribution to the wider community.
Mr Jitender Kumar Singla, Chairman of Seven Seas Hotel, said: “Completing two years in Dubai is an important milestone for everyone at Seven Seas Hotel. It is also a moment to thank the city and the people who have supported our journey. We wanted to mark the occasion through action, because hospitality begins with care – for our guests, our colleagues and the places we all share. I am proud that our team gave its time and effort to the community.”
The activity brought together employees who normally work in different parts of the hotel. Away from their day-to-day roles, they worked towards one visible result and reinforced a culture in which every colleague can contribute to the hotel’s wider responsibilities.
Ms Nidhi Aggarwal Balachandran, Co-Founder and Director of Seven Seas Hotel, said: “We wanted our anniversary to bring our people together around a purpose beyond the celebration itself. The immediate result is a cleaner public space, but the lasting value is the awareness it creates – noticing what needs to be done, taking responsibility and working together. Those same habits strengthen our workplace and the service we provide to guests.”
