DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, 13 February 2024: Award-winning restaurant Chaihona No 1 by Vasilchuki has launched in Dubai Marina with a picture-perfect, modern fusion menu and delightful dine-and-shop concept.
Already widely known, Vasilchuki restaurant group, founded by global restauranters Alexey and Dmitry Vasilchuk, is behind this Marina hotspot celebrated for its interesting menu. The group already has over 40 restaurants globally in Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Russia, and this is its first venture in the Middle East.
Chaihona No. 1 by Vasilchuki’s modern fusion menu is a surprise and delight as Head Chef Sergei Suschenko, who has created over 2500 unique dishes during his time with the brand, playfully combines Eastern European heritage dishes with flavours of the Middle East and Asia to create his masterpiece menu.
Each culinary journey begins with an appetizer, and much-loved brand favourites include hummus sweet potato, salmon tartare with smoked grapes and Barramundi (Asian seabass) with a ponzu sauce garnished with juicy tomatoes.
Suschenko’s recommended mouthwatering must-try mains are Black dumplings with salmon and red caviar, Chaikhansky pilaf with a rack of lamb seasoned with cumin and barberries and the succulent, cooked to-perfection marbled beef with baby potatoes.
The brand’s famous dessert counter is home to the signature pavlova mille-feuille with cream, berries, mango puree and a dash of lingonberry powder.
Much of Suschenko’s menu inspiration is gathered from adventurous travels to lesser-known locations, and from his vast collection of unusual cookbooks, considered one of the largest in the world, that he enjoys browsing when not at work. His energetic spirit is injected into his team, that he devotes much time to making his work family.
